Physician (Primary Care)

The Primary Care Provider is responsible for providing care for adult and geriatric Veteran patients who present to the medical services with varying acute to chronic medical care. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform all facets of outpatient medical health care. Provide adequate and appropriate diagnostic evaluations on all patients presenting to inpatient units. Provide prompt diagnostic assessment and evaluation, including fill history and physical exam, appropriate labs, radiological imaging, consultations, etc. Effective communication and interaction with admitting teams and discharge planning. Completes and signs all electronic medical records and all orders prior to completion of each duty shift. Completes all patient notes within twenty-four (24) hours of patient visit. Malpractice:

United States Citizenship:
Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Experience:
Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Reference:

VA Directive and Handbook 5019, applicants must be able to perform the duties as a Physician. Light lifting (under 15lbs), light carrying (under 15lbs), use of fingers, far vision correctable in one eye to 20/20 and 20/40 in the other, hearing (aid permitted), emotional stability, mental stability.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
