Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operations of the business office including accounts receivable, resident status updating, resident billing, administrator/billing office support and Resident Trust Fund.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in accounts receivable collections, or similar setting required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Associates degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred.
Knowledge of billing and collection practices and techniques.
Previous Healthcare experience preferred Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
