We are one of many companies that make up Centurion, which is a much larger UK-based company.
There are only two US based companies that are part of Centurion, so we get to operate like a much smaller company but get the benefits and backing of a much larger company.
This position will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager but will work independently with multiple teams.
Looking for a self-starter that can multitask, organize, prioritize work, and will seek work once tasks are complete.
Responsibilities for each job type are as follows:
Receptionist:
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately - Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival - Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges - Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - Manages the conference room schedule to avoid double bookings of external and internal meetings - Orders food for meetings as needed Purchasing:
- Assist with PO data entry - Assist with new vendor documentation flow - Keep records, maintain inventory, review purchase orders, monitor shipments and deliveries and provide updates as needed for operations meetings Accounts Payable:
- Creating folders, filing, scanning documents - project, AP, check run, quality, & MSA/contract scanning - Assist with weekly check run by pulling invoices, stamping, and stuffing envelopes - Assist with AP data entry and tracking down items received but missing invoices (or vice versa) - Follow up with vendors as needed about payment status Accounts Receivable:
- Opening projects as needed - Scanning and loading documents into accounting system and document control system - Assist with collection calls & emails for past due accounts as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in accounts payable or purchasing is preferred - Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-oriented approach Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the dental/medical office.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
