We are looking for the best and brightest, specifically an Administrative Assistant to start soon! The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing daily support to the FORGE Global Industries (FORGE) Leadership Management Team and serve as the lead administrator to the Katy office, reporting directly to the Operations Manager & CEO of FORGE.

Responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing and budget systems.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.
Previous experience as a receptionist, or executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry a plus.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls Organize and schedule appointments and meetings Maintain contact lists Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Develop and maintain a filing system Book conference calls, rooms, taxis, couriers, hotels, & travel arrangements for LMT Provide general support to visitors Provide information by answering questions and requests Take meeting minutes, create agendas and supply meals for meetings where requested Generate reports Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
Maintain computer and manual filing systems Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Reply to email, telephone, or face to face inquiries Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient Receive, sort, and distribute the mail Coordinate miscellaneous office needs Conduct data entry Support departmental needs as directed by the LMT Track operational tasks (billing, budgets, expense, timesheet, office safety metrics, etc.
) Requirements:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office assistant Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.
) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High School degree Eligible for benefits after 90 days This role is onsite, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM Job Type:
